About Free to Air :

FTA means free to air.  Just like it sounds there are legal channels you can receive with a antenna (sat dish)  similar to years before when we had antennas on tvs (rabbit ears)

Same idea however now you can get these channels with digital receivers. www.lyngsat.com has a list of these channels.

Please keep in mind people are using 3rd party software with these systems to decode satellites which require subscription and for legal reasons we do not support this or give info about it.

As far as receivers go we sell all popular models. You need to first decide technology:

HD (high defintion 1080i playback)
(Viewsat 9000, Sonicview 8000, Pansat 9200 HD)

Standard def with PVR option (pvr allows to add a HDD fat 32 format hard drive and record and playback live tv) 

Standard def with usb port. (usb allows you to upgrade firmware with usb drive)

Standard def with serial port. (normally seen in the first generation fta receivers)
